Doug's Pugs
My Recipe for Pug Food
This is a work in progress. I have been developing this recipe for a while as my youngest Pug Chiana has a food allergy. 
3 Lbs Ground Lean Turkey or Chicken  
3 Lbs Ground Lean Beef (80/20 or Better)  
2 12 oz Package of Frozen Green Beens  
2 12 oz Package Frozen Carrots (sliced or whole) 
2 12 oz Package Frozen Leaf Spinach 
3 Large Sweet Potatoes (cooked)  
9 large Eggs  
6-9 scoops Vitamin Supplement powder  
 
Cook Sweet potators in oven or Microwave, I use the oven and slightly under cook so thsy are still firm. Then Chopped in your favorite food processor. 
Cook meat in separate pans until fully cooked, breaking up meat into small chunks. Keep meat separate in two large bowls or pots. 
Heat/ Cook Frozen Vegetables per package directions  
Blend egg in bowl or blender and Cook eggs in sauce pan until soft but not runny 
In blender/ food processor, add cooked Green beans, Carrots and Spinach, eggs and Vitamin Supplement. Blend until well mixed.  
Add 1/2 Vegetable and potato to each meat  and Mix Well. Form into patties about 2 to 4 oz each. and freeze in zip lock bags or spoon into plastic container and freeze, I use plastic containers sized for 2-3 days worth (2 heaping Tablespoons) mixed with 1/2 cup dry quality dog food. I use Rachel Ray Little Bits as My Chiana does not have any reaction to it. This recipe makes about 2 weeks of food for my 4 pugs ( 3 standard and one Mini)
